Poultry have been on the earth for over 150 million years, dating back to the original wild jungle fowl, now we include ducks, geese, turkey, guinea fowl and chickens into the list of species under the general poultry.Poultry play very important role for mankind through food supply, income and employment generation etc. The indirect or direct importance of poultry are summarized below.
